Yes, I can't wait to get a chance to see both in the Spring game. The biggest thing for a running back when getting acclimated to college ball is patience and trusting their speed. If you are very quick, it allots you more time to be patient. When it's there the quickness will get you to the whole in enough time to make a play. That is the big difference in what I seen in Mark Walton as a freshman/sophomore to his junior year. His junior year Walton was very patient behind the LOS and it paid off. He was going to have a very big junior season!!!
Exactly. That’s what I’ve been saying about the running back position. It doesn’t require speed. Just vision, balance and quickness. The leading rusher in the history of the NFL ran a 4.7 40 yard dash. But he had vision, balance and quickness.
