We were even worse. Florida had one loss fewer, and actually had a rivalry win over Georgia, a team that's currently ranked #13.

If Miami has a 5-loss season next season, and somehow magically wins a rivalry game against a team that finishes the season ranked, it's tough for me to imagine that Golden has the same fate as Muschamp this year.

Safety to linebacker can be a very successful transition for some players (Kuechly was a HS safety, Alec Ogletree "Heading into his sophomore season, Ogletree continued to grow, and the coaching staff asked him to move to inside linebacker."

There is other stuff to be hating on, but this doesn't seem like an illogical move? Plus, our depth at linebacker will be weaker than safety next season. If he can't crack the two deep at safety, we could use his skills at another position. A play maker will find his way on to the field. Maybe his best shot moving forward is at linebacker.

Tell you what. Go back and watch the Nebraska game. Forget all other losses this year. ****, forget all the losses of the past four years! That one game epitomizes all that is wrong with this defensive coaching staff and it's scheme. We got hit for a big play early in the game and the turtle's head went back in his shell!

Dino and Fat *** coach scared. They coach passively. They coach hoping not to lose the game instead of trying to win! Numbers be damned, passive coaching is in their DNA...They will not change and eventually you will always lose when you play scared.


And FYI....'Braska finished the regular season 93rd in passing ypg.

But just think how high Nebraska would have finished in the passing rankings had we not played in a prevent defense all game.
