I honestly thought it would be like the Kansas game in 2022. In it the first half then let it get away in the second. Lucas is a deeper bench and a couple snipers away from an elite 8 team at worst.

Purdue played perfect. Miami did not. Malik Reneau was on a milk carton in the biggest game of the year. Yet another putrid showing by the referees….. and still had a Chance to win this game.

**** of a year. Lucas is legit. Let’s go after it next year as I think the core pieces are there if we are aggressive in portal like I think we will be.

Dovrat too. Why he didn't play today when we needed threes desparately is BEYOND me but seems like a bad decision.

Only reason I didn’t mention his is it seems like based on his lack of minutes he may not be someone they are high on, but I’d definitely want him back.

Dovrat can’t defend. Jai probably had Timo in there for length but he’s a liability on offense and his defense isn’t really much better

Especially with us getting a lot of open looks at three and just couldn’t hit them…can’t imagine that he wouldn’t hit at least a few of those open looks..

No clue but I’m with you that he should come back. I’d be shocked if a team drafts a 6’5 guy that can’t shoot top 20, and probably not even first round.

Come on man. Be mad Reneau didn’t show up, but let’s be real. They’re the most efficient offense in America. They just ran through the B10 tourney, spanking Michigan. That’s a bad matchup for us.

Henderson locked up their best player, and they still shot over 50%. We stayed in the game bc of turnovers and offensive rebounds. We were never gonna go toe to toe with them when it comes to shot making.

Hard sustain that first half effort when we’re only playing six guys and unable to play zone to give our guys legs some rest bc the other team is not missing against our zone. Purdue had a bench they can go to and we didn’t, to me that was the difference in this game. Great season canes super proud of guys!!!

We had a chance to win the game and left a lot out there. We did not run into a juggernaut like UConn a few years back. We were picked by one pre game to win.

I'll always hate losing games we had a strong chance to win. It was a good season. A really good one. But I hate this constant just happy to be here that we have as a fan base. We were up at half and should have been up more to be honest. I agree with -- did you expect to make a fair tournament run 8 months ago? -- no -- but at half time today, yes, I felt we were a team that can win this winnable game with our athletic team.
