Interesting that Maddox and Laboy didn't get into the game.
I wonder if they are trying to save this year of eligibility for a transfer at the end of the year.
Just wondering as I have no proof that is happening.

He’s nearly 40% from 3 (albeit small sample size) and that’ll rise after today.

Liability defensively and isn’t a reliable ball- handler but we can hide those deficiencies in 3 guard sets with 2 of Tre/Tru/Allen.

We should be trying to steal 8-10 min a game for floor spacing purposes

Both are redshirting, i believe only Laboy has gotten in. You can play 6 (?) games and still redshirt.

I doubt Laboy transfers given how close he is with the Lucas Family. Maddox was the last pickup so idk
 
Good to avoid that landmine without having to really sweat. Now I am confident we are only playing for seeding, probably sitting at about the 8-9 line right now. I could see us finishing anywhere from 7-10, depending on how the season closes out (barring a super deep run in the ACCT). Incredible work by Jai, considering he not only had to completely rebuild the roster, but had to make do with a very incomplete team with limited depth and outside shooting.

I think we could lose our last two and a game in the ACC and still be on the 8/9 line. A 1-2 or 2-1 finish and we’re probably up to a 7 seed. Anything beyond that and we can go higher.

Maybe, but if we lose three straight they put us in a murderers row bracket. I really want this team to win at least a game in the NCAAs, ideally get to S16.

Malovec is more helpful on defense and the boards. He's hitting about 33% from three. Definitely not good enough if that's supposed to be your role, but his size at least lets him contribute in some ways that Dovrat can't.

Confident to say this team cannot beat Duke. Really I can’t see any ACC doing that, and yes, UNC pulled off the mini miracle comeback
