Chase Smith was all over the field and could have made two big turn over plays. His athleticism really popped out today and let's hope he's a great 4th backer the rest of the year

You guys made me doubt myself. One of my favorite recruits from the 2021 class. I felt Chase was going to be the comeback kid story this year and everyone told me he had lost a step. I’m loving his ability to find the ball. Feels like he diagnoses plays quickly.

I think Chase would've been incredible if he never got hurt. His instincts, size and speed were off the charts in HS. Just needed to adjust to LB but injuries have held him back. In his 5th year, it looks like it's all coming togethr.
