Had to go back almost 40 years to show that the fans don’t know anything and Miami is on top of things…well done. Everyone associated with that decision is dead or in a nursing home so maybe that’s completely irrelevant with our bed ****ters currently in Charge
 
These salaries are absurd and these college coaches will now be making more than 80% of NFL HCs.

If we're going to spend $6-8M on Mario/Lane/whoever we might as well just try to poach some NFL coaches like Robert Saleh ($5M in his early 40's and would CRUSH recruiting and sure up the defense).

Kyle Shanahan makes $3.5M in California which after taxes and cost of living is like making $2M.

Brandon Staley of the Chargers makes nothing close to $5M in California again and is young and a defensive guru.

Honestly excellent point. If we strike out on Mario, pass on Lane cuz of past, there is still hope with this approach

The purpose of my message was not to say UM is on top of things. It’s to illustrate fans had no clue in 1984 and none in 2021.
