Lil Tua now in transfer portal

Barely

it is what it is

we missed on our top 2 targets and TVD was never an option with how that relationship soured and his meltdowns

Tua isn't perfect but he's mature and is a 1 year bridge like they wanted. DJU also played at Clemson and had all the talent in the world surrounding him, Taulia has balled out at maryland

if he gets approved great, if not oh well

Probably #1, if he knew for sure Taulia would get the waiver, he is better than Ward in my mind. He would show great leadership the way a QB should.
Also don’t feel like he’s a mercenary hunting a big bag. Will need an NIL deal for sure, but it seems like more a personal desire to be around family. Like Ward a lot, but it’s all business and question the kind of teammate you’re getting.

I am not sure "Oh Well" is the best option to open up on the road in the Swamp...

I'm not sure it is either but at some point we have to start looking at what's real

howard, ward, dju, all top options are off the table

it's taulia or maybe salter and if we dont get those two, then we can all be in agreement that it's not a good situation to have jacurri leading the team but it would likely be THE situation we're faced with

Would you rather have the QB who has thrown 23 career picks on 912 attempts (2.52 percent) and 54 touchdowns (5.92%) with a career completion percentage of 63.7% with an avg yard per attempt of 8.2. Knowing the QB started under 3 different systems in 3 years. Overall record 14-11, win percentage 56

Or

37 interceptions on 1,436 attempts ( 2.58%) and 77 touchdowns (5.36 percent) with a career completion percentage of 67.1 percent with an avg yard per attempt of 7.9? Knowing the QB played in the same system for four years. Overall record 23-18, win percentage 56

As a starter he is:

2020 - 2-2 with two 3 interception games
2021 - 7-6
2022 - 7-5
2023 - 7-5
Career: 23-18 with 37 interceptions.

He will fit in perfectly

If you look at 2023 (Howards "breakout season"), Will Howard had nearly as many INTs as Taulia in 100 fewer passing attempts- so would you be crapping on Howard if UM had landed him?

really seems like he has no basis for the waiver to be approved, would be thrilled if it was though. he's certainly not a sure thing but he's at least experienced and his older brother might help him game plan a bit

he likely just entered because it was the last day to so in a just in case scenario
He is a grad student the portal closing dates do not apply to him.

No because Howard adds more to an offense with his run game which made K state one of the best red zone teams in the country. You wouldn’t bring Howard in to be a pure pocket passer like baby tua is
