I will say this. Coach Kul, for all his abilities, put a unit on the field last night that underperformed.

Bama DL at least looked bigger/better than the "overmatched" Clemson OL.

Scheme + coaching + grit (and TL's nanosecond release) wore out the "monsters of tuscaloosa" to where they couldnt even stop the run in 3Q/4Q.

Outside of Williams, I wasn't impressed with their D line play at all. How does Alabama have such little depth up front that they rarely rotate players? Those guys were gassed halfway through the third quarter when it became obvious that Clemson was trying to run time off the clock.

They will. Saban is not losing to a freshmen QB. If it were UM, different story. I have a storied tradition now of taking L's to freshmen QBs.
