On the opposite...this was the right and easy move for MANY reasons:

- The season's goals are already lost. The pressure of getting to the ACCCG is non existent
- He can use TVD's "injury" as an excuse
- He can then use the freshman's inexperience as an "excuse"
- At this point we're building for the future and need to see if this kid is something we can build around. You're increasing the sample size.

Even the ultra conservative meat head couldn't get this decision wrong. It was a no brainer.
 
No telling how this will go, but this is a very good decision by Mario imo. And I think anyone acting like it was an easy decision is lying even with TVD being dog**** the past couple games... Now lets just hope Dawson is going full throttle all game with Emory. I'd like to see the first play be a quick WR screen to gain like 5+ yards, then on second play run a full 'bro-style' look and run a flea flicker deep shot lol.

The stupidity of this staff sometimes…nah let’s not start him against NCST at home against an offense that sucks so there’s less pressure

Let’s start him on the road against an elite offense and top 5 team in the country only after we finished off our former starter
