I have to stop reading these boards. It's making me fear EVERY potential hire. Not good for my mental health.
Last 5 seasons:
- 10-3 average record
- Against an average of the 13th hardest schedule
- Four top 15 finishes
Is this a joke? South Florida has the most players in the NFL right now, and you would turn down a man notorious for producing one of the most aggressive groups of savages and barbarians the south has to offer?
Do you have any idea what Les Miles would do if you gave him access to a larger area of talent and asked him to lead his crew of frothing at the mouth, rabid killers against an ACC Coastal schedule?
LMAO at people saying pass. Every week would be a **** blood bath if he was in charge of Miami. All he does is hire amazing staffs, kill it in recruiting, and have Moffitt turn his roster into animals. It would be a massacre any time Miami took the field.
UM Admissions. Period.
Lol at amazing staffs. Cam Cameron? Fail forward fast? Plus LSU's deep pockets helped him hire those staffs.
WTF don't you understand. Dude is a do less with more guy. Our program is a have less need a coach that does more program.
You know who else coached under Miles?
Jimbo Fisher
Mike Gundy
Bo Pelini
Saban was at LSU from 2000-2004.
He won a championship in 2007 when Saban's last recruiting class was juniors.
Then he went to another championship game in 2011. Tell me how Saban is responsible for that second BCS championship game appearance.
Read the article nimrod. The man underachieves with boatloads of talent.
You are what your record says you are. An average of 10 wins a season during his time at LSU and has averaged 10 wins a season over his last 4 years there. Les Miles is a 10 win coach. You don't want that at Miami? You're an idiot.
That's the expectation at a program that literally has everything you can ask. Built by Saban, Dollar handshakes, Rich & corrupt recruiting ground, Tommy Moffit, Death Valley, Facilities, Deep pockets for assistants and ZERO admission standards. The dude struggles in big games and can't beat good coaches. **** Butch nearly beat him with a suspended squad.
The guy has had 8-5, 8-5 & 9-4 seasons sprinkled in. What makes you think he can duplicate that with Miami's small pockets, fear of dollar handshakes, no facilities, and higher admission standards.
This guy is also notorious for no discipline. Not that I care, cuz I miss the good ole days but that stuff won't fly here anymore.
No No No No.
Despite being an under achiever and Saban's and Myer's whooping boy, Miles would not be a fit for this program. He's used to living the lavish life of football luxuries. Earth to you people. WE DO NOT HAVE THAT.
That's why people keep on reiterating ad nauseam that Miami needs someone with previous ties to the program so that they understand what they are walking into. Understand the work and the hustle that goes into convincing recruits to stay home and play for a program with 2nd rate facilities and play in front of half filled stadiums. You guys think that Miles at this stage of his career would take this kind of project on? You're crazy if you do. It would be a miserable existence for everyone involved the result would show it.
Get it of your minds now. No need to waste time or your breath thinking of something that has no chance of coming to fruition.
Being a fit for the program has everything to do with subsequent success. Look at Strong at Texas. Everyone knew he wasn't a fit at Texas despite being a quality coach. Look at them now. Look at Rich Rod at Michigan.. Heck of a coach just not a fit.No No No No.

So you saying Saban and Meyer wouldn't kill it here because they are used to coaching at programs with more money and better facilities? **** outta here with this dumb *** argument.
LSU fans hate him
he is their Larry Coker
Jimbo will be going home
If you attempt to type a reply to this thread stating you wouldn't take him, your device should deploy a spring-loaded boxing glove out of the screen and into your face.
He's 1 of the worst in game coaches I've witnessed.
I think that would be the best choice for them
