Les Miles could be fired

This is why we can't have nice things. Y'all are ****ing retarded. Butch is a fantastic candidate, but the reaction to the other 3 candidates is why we deserve Mario. Jesus.

I'm a big Butch supporter but you guys are at DBC status not wanting the mad hatter here. Saban was gone in 04 and Les won the title in 07 but he won with Saban players right? LOL. Dude has won and competed for national titles and is a perennial 10 win a season coach. That's in the tough side of the SEC, he would destroy the coarstal.

Brock, he cannot buy recruits here. Butch is better recruiter and better game day coach -- and I am not a big fan of Butch's game day coaching.

He will not have bag man delivering new cars to recruits daddies if he is here. I see prefer Butch. If the idiots in CG refuse to hire the obvious right guy, then Les would be an interesting choice.

Well, it is certainly fair to ask if either can live without bagmen. Meyer had trouble staying a UF -- the cheat but are not protected as well as OSU is. Bama, well what can I say. Both are clearly great coaches but Miami is a different animal. I trust that Butch can do the job. I am not sure those two can BUT if you can get one, I'll take a shot on it over Butch.

Agreed, still want Butch but Les is Miles (pun intended) ahead of any of the other candidates being mentioned. Not that I think he will be fired, or come here.

I can see him coming here. Getting pass noles coaching at Miami is a heck of a lot easier than getting pass Bama to just win your division. Miami is the shortest easiest route to playoff this side of OSU (that is much easier - almost guaranteed ticket - reason Urban is there.)

Haven't one 10 games in what? 10 years? and people are complaining about winning 10 games in a year. I just cant anymore
 
i would take him. but he really is one of those awesomely terrible game day coaches. calls a lot of plays that make you scratch your head but he recruits and develops enough athletes where they can out athlete the other team. they've won 10 games a season without developing any qbs. mettenberger didn't play as well as he should have while there considering he's an nfl talent and was throwing to OBJ and landry. my only worry is that he will either not be able to recruit at the same caliber bc he won't be able to cheat or he will cheat and we will actually get the death penalty. you get away with a lot more in SEC country. don't automatically expect him to get away with the same things here.
 
Les Miles recently had Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham and maybe even Reuben Randle on his team and had trouble getting first downs.

He hired Cam Cameron and the family to coach his offense. He gave James Coley a coaching job which is leading to us having problems with our o.

I'd probably take him over Richt but he doesn't seem like a fit here. He's a ceo type that needs great coordinators, also their dirty in the recruiting game. none of it will be available to him here...add to it he owns his state for recruiting he goes to war for no one in Louisiana it's his state. Would be a culture shock having to go balls to the wall every week for some snot nose south for kid. A lot different than when u can just buy a s.fla kid dad a escalate or get his dad a job at a local high school.
lsu won't fire him though so this point is moot. This comes up every year with him because most of their fans don't want him. Same with Richt but the admin would pull out points like 10 win seasons, nfl players, yesteryear sec champs, etc
 
There are a lot of got **** idiots on this board. Les would average at least 12 victories here at Miami and in the Coastal. How could anyone with a working brain not want Les Miles. It would be like the teams of old where we beat teams before the kickoff. He might be 1b to Herman now imo.
