This guy would KILL here.
So am I the only one who laffed at Craig James' comment about Ray Rice beating them?
My top choice would be T-Rob. I think he's done a great job with the DBs at UF, he's from Miami, has shown repeatedly his ability to recruit and establish a strong presence in the S. FL community, including with kids Miami is currently recruiting. Just think he's the best candidate, and he fits completely into the kind of hires Golden has made in the past 2 years, dating back to Coley or even Cristobal (if you count that). I think there is still a very good chance there's a coaching change at UF come Dec/Jan. Even if not, that ship is likely sinking and T-Rob will likely be looking for work in the next year and a half (not that he'd have any trouble finding it). He's my top choice of candidates I can't think of off the top of my head.
I think Leavitt is just as qualified for an NFL DC job, and would likely prefer that type of an opportunity over returning to college. I don't think he'd return to college unless it was for a head job somewhere.
We don't need yet another recruiter on our staff like TRob. We need a ****ing coach.
Why would Leavitt - a seasoned coach and one time head corch, want to coach under a buffoon of a corch?
Leavitt is that dude. He is a straight shooter and would have no problem recruiting s fla. I had a cousin playing for him opposite of Mike Jenkins (was better then Jenkins imo), so I was around the team as a kid alot. They loved playing for Leavitt and his defense played with his attitude. Why would Leavitt - a seasoned coach and one time head corch, want to coach under a buffoon of a corch?
