Can anyone explain the injury timeline? I thought this dude was the best option, even including Simpson (who I think is a good fit), sans the fact he’s had some worrying injuries (ribs, lung, lisfranc).
From what i've seen, he had surgery in early November. Normal recovery period to be fully-cleared is 6 months which would put him ready around early/mid April. Some seem to say that it can take longer for a player to truly get back 100% (up to a year)

I recall someone saying that his injury came two months earlier in the season than Fletcher’s and he should be ready to practice starting in May.

Watching his highlights and I noticed his TE Chamon Metayer has a similar build to Lofton. I think Lofton is listed smaller but I think he can play like Metayer did for ASU
