And as soon as the game ended, Miami all of a sudden has a history of recruits lined up including a QB who bypassed three other teams in need of a QB. On yesterday’s podcast, Pete alluded to Leavitt. Today we get Leavitt on campus although Lane tried to swoop in. And now D$ makes a post concerning Leavitt alone.

Take less? No. I hope he gets what he’s worth. He’s the #1 QB in the portal. He’s a dual threat monster and has already led a team to the CFP.

Leavitt was my number 1 option last year too. Love the kids game. This year, the injury worried me a bit. But man, if hes healthy. Offense will be so much fun

Yes I guess I meant he was asking for $4mil and we agreed to it. Maybe LSU offers more he still sticks with what he had previously asked for because he'd prefer to be at Miami.

Miami will pay him the most because we have the biggest need. We are preseason ACC favorites, CFP contenders, and top 3 team going into 2026 with him. He knows that and so does Mario. If he wants $6m give it to him. It’s the best investment. We have Beck $4m and have pocketed at least $20m. Would you trade $6m for $20m? I would.
