On mobile so sorry if the below link doesn't work but who are the second two LBs in this video? Grace looks smooth and quick but what are the other two doing? Not clowning any players at all - just curious who these two are.

Second guy looks like juwon young, and for the third guy he said still going around it mike so I would say mike smith

2nd guy is Juwon young. Seemed way new to the drill. Like maybe it's a different position on his first day. The 3rd one is Mike Pinckney. He needs work.

You don't know why they're doing it that way. The coaches may have asked them to slow it down and exaggerate the footwork.

That definitely looks like the first time the last two did that drill. Young is playing a new position.

The dude who started the thread about whether Miami could win the national championship this year needs to watch this.

Aparrently you guys are not familiar with this drill. Actually Grace is doing it wrong...the idea of this drill is to slide the block then step in a way that your inside leg is directly behind the blockers inside leg..by doing this the only way the blocker can continue is to block you in the back..its a bball step try it will make more sense

Thanks for the clarification. Makes sense. Looks like Young was probably doing the intent of the drill the best. He stayed square with the blocker, while Grace and Mike shaded to the the side they were going.

Good stuff!

Thank you!

Guys are quick to judge and act like experts on the matter. Young actually had the best technique probably

Maybe a bit slow and exaggerated. .but the right idea....u see this used most often by DE when bending and then taking that first step directly behind the blocker closest leg
