Lawrence to Tennessee

Boom. Elite recruiter before and after Miami but here.....same ole same ole. We HAVE to pay!!
No doubt about the bags. Richt had great classes at UGA. He came here and I thought we’d kill it. I was wrong. We’re not competing on a level playing field. Winning will help but it doesn’t tell the whole story.

well we do have all but 3 guys in the secondary that arent four star guys, so while we missed on the 5 stars from SFL (we wont get them without bags), we arent doing terrible in that spot. we should recruit natioanlly and locally, not either or. also, its a joke about the local kids. they troll as much as the national dudes do. part of the game

That’s largely because we save the ships for the next cycle.

Look how many young guys we’re relying on in the secondary going into this season. True Freshmen and guys that were suppose to be long term projects are going to be in the 2 deep.

It’s like only being able to land a single OL a cycle you go after but he’s a 4*. Your depth chart is probably going to be talented, but the depth itself is ****.

Lawrence had one requirement - and we refused.

Lawrence knew he'd be homesick if he came to Miami - from Day One.

To remind him of home - it needed to smell like home.

Manny and crew said, "**** NO!" to his request for fresh, steamy cow patties to be spread around the practice fields and outside his apartment's open windows.

He'd catch a whiff of that - close his eyes - and he was HOME.

UT smells like **** all the time - and so his comfort level there is assured.

No clue. You can pick an individual player as a outliner either way. But there is a trend of recruits that over play the recruiting game But it is certainly a red flag even if its a player that signs with us.

The outliers are elite kids that bust. There is no trend that kids that over play the recruiting game bust.

It’s not an apology if you lie while delivering it.

No one on here or anywhere else can argue that his wearing our shirt, ripping it off, and dropping it on the ground was necessary to deliver his commitment. It was intended disrespect, what he didn’t want was a reaction to it. That’s life though, you have to reap what you sow.

Seeing what he did for what it was, has nothing to do with being too sensitive for recruiting. It just is what it is. And we don’t have to allow him to lie his way out of it in order to appear unaffected.

The fact some of y’all let a 17 year old shirt roshambo on his announcement got ya butthurt is ridiculous. Must have been the kids that got participation trophies even though you got your *** smoked.

The kid came out and publicly apologized. He explained his decision as well (both things you usually dont see). Best of luck at UT. Let's move on
