Latrell Williams dropped? Rumor from another site...

This would suck if true. Williams > Davis and he was a terrific late find by Dugans and Richt.

Ultimate alpha move by the staff if true

Would take huge balls and confidence in everyone else coming
 
Yeah sounds like he was told this more because he wanted to wait to announce until signing day, not because we didn't want him necessarily.. Sucks if true because this kid is awesome... Hoping he and Dugans can work it out... Would be an awesome weapon for us..
 
I do remember someone saying the staff told him not to take the UT visit....which could have some relation to the whole tyler byrd saga.
 
If anything, Latrell was on the fence after the Tenn visit, he played the game and now Davis is taking his place. Dugans went to visit him followed by Davis yesterday. Latrell waffled and now, Davis is in. Just speculating...

Davis was in regardless, Richt has been on him nonstop since Uga
 
Nothing wrong with this.....take all of your visits first, then commit to the school....I don't understand what's so hard about this

Bruce, Reptar Davis, Mullins and Richards then one of Stove or Wims is my guess.
 
Highly doubt we dropped him.

Mullins might not qualify
Davis hasn't committed
Wims sounds like a no-go
Richards announces on NSD
Bruce committed again, but you never know

I think the kid really likes Tennessee and I'm sure Bruce committing as the future slot/KR/PR guy didn't help.

It's about making a point. You can't keep letting these recruits treat miami like it's usf or something.

More I think about it the less I think we dropped him.

All the guys we've been going after we were going after before Williams. Davis, Wims, stove, etc were all already in the fold when Williams committed. I can't imagine the staff would have offered him then pushed him out immediately

Hopefully it means lock on Richards. Honestly with Richards Mullins and Bruce I'm happy. Everyone else is jusy depth Imo
 
Has he made any comments today or yesterday? It seems awfully quiet on him..
