Latrell Williams dropped? Rumor from another site...

How about he went from stating he was a Miami commit, to nothing... Looks like he needs to get back in line again. Oh boy. I hope visiting Knoxville in the middle of F'ing winter was worth it...!

The sad part is that he was never a take for them. Their class is almost full and they are looking to get Derrick Brown and Nigel Warrior and 2 other guys. They pulled a fast one on this kid and now he got burned if this is all true.
 
I doubt they "dropped" him. You don't find that elite speed every day. The 386 to 305 was taken off his twitter, that is correct, but I think it was to build hype for his actual commitment. He went from a 2 star that nobody mentioned to a 4 star in 3 days. Now he wants to enjoy the attention. I think he was going on the UT visit as a free trip but actually liked it more than he thought now he's going to make an announcement.

Although I doubt he was dropped exactly.. would not surprise me if it was something along the lines of.. "We want to know what your decision is now, or you won't be guaranteed a spot come signing day. If there's room then, we'll take you, if not then tough deal". Could be that type of scenario and he didn't have an answer yet so they aren't promising him a spot

They aren't going to get played on signing day if they don't have to. Not in their first recruiting class. It's a numbers game right now.

Don't know if it was just a NSD thing. If it were, I would imagine he would not have had a problem reaffirming his commitment. Maybe he just liked TN more after visiting. I doubt he was dropped, he either changed his mind or the staff told him thanks but no thanks after not reaffirming his commitment.

If if that rumor is true, and I hope it's not cause would love to have this kid the team.

In four pages, this is probably the most accurate to what happened.
 
Hope we keep him, good player and good speed, he will have a greater impact then half the WRs rated above him nationally.
 
This is why even though, scientific proof that shows eye witnesses and even trained police officers overwhelmingly identify and or describe things incorrectly, the court still accepts their accounts. Point is this is a fine account how even BS can morph into something real. SMDH!
