Because he is a product of this generation. Not necessarily his fault. If I had to choose between a twitter diva and a grown man (Kaaya), I'm picking a grown man. That's just what I want as my quarterback. I don't like the idea of my quarterback being an open book on twitter. He opens himself up to some mental abuse. The internet is an unforgiving place. Everyone is an internet tough guy. He's going to have enough pressure on him.

With that being said, I'll be bouncing off the walls if we get him -- I really hope we do. He's a freak. I'm sure the staff will get that stuff in check really quickly.

Ol boy is running a mid 4.3-low 4.4s as a 17 year old kid, has a cannon, and is probably one of the top 3 wide receivers in the nation. If that's not "grown man" **** right there, I would really really like to know what is.

I see someone already decided to be a ho and throw out the "s fla. Diva" tag. Did people start writing that dumb *** **** as a way to rationalize why Dolan is missing on ballers or what? Once again, I would really like to know how these KIDS are so called "divas"......... They have put in SERIOUS ******* WORK throughout their childhood to be in a position where every major BCS school wants them. If that's not a hardworking KID who should be applauded for being responsible and mature enough to put in the work to be recruited at the highest level, wtf you call it then?

I heard that "diva" tag thrown around with Stacy Coley, Amari Cooper, Tracy Howard when he was thought to be in the bag with chump, and Deon Bush when it looked like he was all trooper taylors(as well as being "soft" lmao) yet all these guys are ballers on the college level, and have very bright futures ahead of them. Yes, he has all the measurables, you're right. I mentioned that he was a freak, and that I wanted him here. "Grown *** man" refers to his mental state of mind. I assumed there was enough context surrounding my comment to gather that. A quarterback's mind is his most important tool: I think that can be widely accepted.

You take a results oriented approach to players. I think that's a viable strategy these days, but too much freedom for a child might end poorly. Many professionals have gotten burned on twitter. Ask Paul George of the Indiana Pacers. I like to take a results oriented approach with some kids, some not. Jimmy Johnson was a master at treating all his players differently, but fairly. He knew exactly what buttons to push. Some kids need to be controlled a bit more. It's a fine line.

I agreed with some of your points later on. No need to rant here. We can have a regular discussion. I think the diva thing is silly too. I'm just concerned with the quarterback position. I posted my argument, with an real life example. I said that he is a product of the times. That means what it means. What he's doing is status quo for kids these days. What does this post mean? If a player takes countless visits, is committed, or lists us in his top 3(entertain us) thats a sign of highly considering the school... What's the difference between those players and Tracey Howard? Great pull by Golden, however he did not seal the deal with the aforementioned players listed in your post... He went after all those players hard until signing day but lost out...
