Latest on McIntosh, Norton, and Jackson

Kinda surprised that McIntosh isn't more highly regarded. Most people consider the ND guard a 1st round pick and he abused him at times.

Not really. McIntosh made more plays lined up against the other guy. That guard absolutely flattened McIntosh a couple of tomes.

Yeah, I acknowledged my mistake in my last post. I guess I was thinking of another game.

Why yall act like these fake assessments are the gospel? We see this **** every year.

NFL teams will have their own individual judgements of who they believe is a 1st round option or not and RJ McIntosh will be on that list for most of them. They don't care about all this before the off season bs.

No NFL teams rank players based on mock drafts and advisory boards

Cool.

LMAO. Yeah, guys who are completely off the radar of every single mock draft and advisory board member always jump into the first round.

That guy was the only ND player who graded out well, and part of that was from beating up on RJ. RJ also disappeared against Clemson.

He'd benefit tremendously coming back.

Last half of the 1st round is always filled with players no one was overly hyped about being 1st round picks. All u have to be is not born yesterday to realize this.

This and it’s not close. Nelson whooped Norton’s a$$ the entire game too.

The only types of DTs who should leave early are the kind who take over games whenever they want like Sapp used to and like Wilkins does at Clemson.

I think Redwine will get replaced....

Wouldn’t surprise me at all. He’s a tough kid and a good player, but he lacks athleticism. That play where Kelly Bryant outran him to the corner encapsulates his limited athletic ability. He maxes out what he has pretty well, but we need a speed/range infusion in the secondary.
Would surprise me tremendously..although what you say is true about his athleticism is true returning senior starters never get replaced, a Redwine had a **** of a year at safety. Crasy thing is people wanted him at corner where his speed would have definitely got exposed
Y’all expect Sheldrick Redwine to be who Shawn Taylor? Well he’s not but he’s as solid as can be at the college level. I’d like to see any safety at the collegiate level make that particular play and win vs Kelly Bryant which is an all lean muscle 6’4 220lb fast F@cking horse of an athlete gottdammit. Redwine ain’t to shabby at 6’2 190lb. We’ll be just fine with him as our starter for his senior year

I believe Gurvan hall is the kind of safety that can make that tackle on Bryant. I have no problem with Redwine but his limit's physically show up every once in a while. I have watched him come to fill his alley in the run game only to watch a player turn the corner to the outside and get ghost. You can get away with that during most of the regular season but we're trying to win championships. The 4 teams left are the kind of teams were trying to beat. If we were playing Georgia Monday night would you be confident in him bringing down Chubb or Sony in that alley...I know I wouldn't.
As good as Gurvan Hall is he has some catching up to do and I definitely wouldn’t put him over a senior unless he shows otherwise. He’ll get his shot soon enough. It’s not like he’s overwhelmingly bad like Rosier.

Sean Taylor my fault

If McCloud doesn’t improve multifold between now and next year Steed is going to eat his lunch. It’s one thing to look the part. You gotta be able to make football plays though.
Now this I’d like to see. I pray Steed is 100% and stays that way and takes the job from McCloud or should I say McLost cause he seemed lost a lot this year.

Steed? WTF? Just another South Florida 3-star who has never done anything in an actual game, but gets all sorts of hyped on CIS for whatever reason.

Sorry but Steed is Trayone Gray until he actually shows otherwise

I'm not saying he should just walk into a starting spot over Redwine. What I'm saying is if he comes in and has a good spring and fall camp...the moment as a coach you know he truly understands the mental aspect of the playing the position you have to involve him heavily in the rotation..if you don't you're not giving the team the best chance to win.

How about you STFU. He’s been rehabbing from an injury. Try to keep the fūck up. Spring will be the first camp where he can participate in full. I don’t believe he’s even actually ever been in a game.

So the kid didn't impress enough in high school to earn a fourth star, and didn't participate all last year, never heard the coaches mention him once, is coming off a major injury.....so where is all the conference in him coming from?

He played for Central....and...South Florida bros.

Hey man, I'll believe the Steed hype when I see actual production from him. Until then, McCloud has more upside.

Miami is a better team if McCloud can get it together between the ears

By the way, do you post in EVERY thread? Bro, you need a hobby.

Kind of hard to be productive when you have an injury that prevents you from playing... Also lol at comparing Steed to Gray. Gray has actually played and he’s sucked.

Neither RJ or Norton are in the realm of Wilkins and probably not Lawrences either.

Both can be 2-3 rounders, maybe sneak into the first, but both of Clemson’s guys are top 10 guys who can leave early.

Ours shouldn’t be seriously considering it unless they’re okay with a lesser payday now

And it's kind of dumb to pencil in a guy who hasn't played a full season of football since his junior year of high school over a two year starter.

Especially when McCloud is the higher upside in talent.

But hey man, the normal standards don't apply to recruits from South Florida, am I right?
