The science really doesn't support some of those headlines. Those studies were not the most accurate. But no doubt many players have had serious effects and that's clearly a factor in youth participation.

There are more concussions in soccer. That is why they took the head out of the youth game. I read where there are more concussions in women's soccer than in football per capita at the college level.
