Lane supporters

I don't think there was a big division. Just some that preferred one coach over the other. I do think that Mario's success will be tied to his coordinators.
Mario is going to keep s fl blue chips home, enough to hurt Georgia and Bama. Bring Brady in as oc n let’s ride

His D*ick might break with how hard you’re riding it, ease up some
You’re the ones who desperately want his OC Lebby. I love the thought process here.

Let’s get Lane’s OC but not Lane himself. Oh, I forgot, Lebby's a better OC than Lane.......NOT

Will you guys support the Canes? Or will you resort to endless "Lane wouldn't this and that " at every turn you don't care for?
Its not only going to be about Lane.

We have the players right now...and considering the state of the Coastal (or ACC in general), there's almost no reason we should not be playing in the ACC Championship next season. With a good shot at winning it.

With that being said, we absolutely do not have the needed depth to be in National conversation. That is going to take some time, and it honestly doesn't matter who are coach is/was. I will follow that by saying, that the transfer portal is a great way to get your depth in order faster. The biggest concern you have why would a kid not want to compete at the program he committed to?

As soon as Mario make a move that some of these guys don't support, they are going to come in here, or somewhere else, and pull out their ***** card in a hurry. Why would it change for Mario? This has been happening forever.

Here's to hoping the majority are willing to back off and "trust the process", because we are witnessing a turning point in the program. We have the resources, and now the admin will need to find a way to keep the wolves at bay until we can see the fruits of the labor. Marino has roots already, now lets see what kind of supporting cast he can build and where we go from there.

Can you believe the hypocrisy of delusional fans. In other threads Lebby is at the top or 2nd on the list of who people want.

Again, why do you want Lebby and not want Lane? Do you not know he's on Lane's staff?

Everyone knows that bro. We also know he was raised by The King of Raping big 12 defenses. Lane knows it too and that’s why his OCs have been Briles guys. One of the best offensive systems of the last 20 years.

I would have been happy with either one, with that said I don't understand how anyone will hold out just because Mario was selected.
It's not like UM sent out a poll of who the fans would want and the person with most votes gets the job and then they say, Well too bad, were going with Mario anyway.
Let's be adults here.

Brady is great with Mario, but we HAVE to do something about our defensive numbers. I think we're giving up an average of 28 or 29 pts a game. The ACC had some pretty decent offenses this season, but to throw just a little perspective out there

Cincinnati gave up an average of 16pts per game
Bama gave up an average of 20 per game (on a down year for them defensively)
UGA - 9pts/game
Mich - 16pts/game

Even Ole Miss was down to 25pts/game

Pitt - 23/pts/game

The point I am trying to make here, is that we do not have to be the top defense in the country, but we all know that we were basically three more defensive stops ON THE ENTIRE SEASON, from playing for, and possibly winning an ACC title. (and yes I know that would have meant no Mario)

There a re lots of conversations about our offense and who we can bring in to make our O unstoppable, lol, but there really has to be emphasis on getting better defensively. Tackling better, not blowing assignments, containing better, etc.

We need to portal in a DE and LB at a minimum.
