Why is it 85% that he will play with Quincy Wilson? Why isn't it 86.247% or 83.6789%? We need more precision from the Scientist Lane.

For the love of God, please don't post another picture of this guy wearing UM gear or throwing up the U.
 
while I would love to have lane AND Dixon

I wont be crying if we get only one of them (either one). I do not see a whole lot of difference in upside between the two

Hegemon Lane is a true scholar and man of science. He broke that percentage **** down for us.

Just watch this season and i think you will agree. Havin 2 all acc caliber WR starting in Scott and Dorsett with 2 years left and with a game breaker inHerb Waters and the best WR in FL last year in Stacy Coley and a proven guy in the slot in Malcolm Lewis should show you. Not even counting a 6'6 athletic beast coming in Jan in Griffin with Dixon, Braxton Berrios, and Langham coming in next season.

What has Scott shown us that makes you think he is an All Conference type player? Do I think he is talented, absolutely but not All Conference, not saying he can't get there but he is not a top 6 WR in the ACC.

Scott finished with over 500 yards of rec and 4 tds while being suspended for the final 3 games against teams we scored 40 on each game with Duke, UVA, USF. He could of easily had almost 800 yards rec and 7ds. He was leading the team in rec before missing the last 3 games. Dorsett still finished with over 800 yards rec while having a 3 game slump in the middle of the season. He would of been all acc had he been decent in those games. He was 3rd in the conference in rec during the mid point in the season well on his way to ALL ACC as a 1st year starter and true soph.. Waters didn't play much until the final few games because of Scott's suspension and in both the USF and Duke games he scored and had long td receptions and finish both games with over 80 yards rec and over 100 in the USF game. Hurns has been the most consistent WR when healthy and had a good game in the NC State game and UVA. He still had 4 tds rec and didn't play in 2 games down the stretch do to injuries. Griffin and Coley are top 40 players and will be studs here. We are set at WR and will have an ALL ACC WR this season out of Dorsett or Scott..

I think Scott is a talent but you are being really optimistic there and your assumption of what he would have finished with had he not been suspended are exhibit A. He accumulated 512 yds on 35 catches and 3 tds in 9 games and you say he could have have easily finished with 800 yds and 7 tds had he played the last 3 games? So he would have averaged 100 yds per game and over a TD when the previous 9 he averaged 57 and a TD per every 3 games? Scott was never on his way to being an All ACC selection. Our WR corp is good but you are overrating them. They all completely disappeared in our big games. I think Dorsett makes a big jump this year and Lewis and especially Coley are mega talented but they haven't done anything just yet. With Scott I expect him to be a player for us next year and I hope he becomes more consistent as he was way too hot and cold last year. One moment looking like a stud the next looking like a JAG.
 
If we lost Sam Shields, Jami German, or Ryan Moore, people would've walked into rush hour traffic. When we lost Q. Dunbar, Deonte Flopson, and that dude who is still trying to become the No. 1 at UF, a few on this board did just that, DBC included.

On the other hand, if we lost Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Travis Benjamin, or L. Hankerson, no one would've cared (and in fact, many would've been happy that we avoided another JAG).

Andre Johnsons come around once a decade in South Florida, if that. And Merman ain't AJ. Sh*t, I think our boy Scott has more upside than Merman. You think anyone on here would've committed hari-kiri if Scott opted for those rednecks up north? Point being, history teaches that single misses at the WR position will never kill you; there's just too much talent at that position.

He's going to be a Gaytor. He wants to win, start now, get money and be a 1st round pick in 3 years at UF problem is he's going into a black hole where no wr comes out...... but good luck to him

I truly don't care. If we get em or flip em later I would be happy but losing him is irrelevant to me. As said before.... Full speed ahead!! Get on the train or get run over. Beating our opponents (like fsu/uf)will be all the sweeter.
