I'm not down with Lane bashing. I'm not wishing anyone who commits to UF good luck, but I'm not wishing ill either. He did the process right and picked what he thinks is best. Oh well, moving on.

Its the morons that bash Golden for "letting Lane get away" that really bother me, but that's it.

IMO we really didn't need any of them it would be more a luxury to sign them. Were set at all their positions.

I don't care about anybody that doesn't want to be a part of this resurgence.

Meh. Being real I like Quincy, and I like Lammons. I would take them both. Also Lane is a beast.

So if we were to go into Gator territory and take 3 guys like that, I'm sure our fans would consider that a big day.

how can u like quincy after the way he bashed UM. in other news, those 3 will now be cell mates in alachua county jails

Because its football and I'm not a woman

well u dont disrespect my alma mater

I'm surprised someone that gets upset about teenagers graduated from college

problem is other recruits may actually believe that crap (and who knows what else he tells em). we had enough negative recruiting we dont need any from local guys. i usually like you as a poster but u took it personal w ur attack at me. idc that wilson chose another school, but dont disrespect the school in the way he did especially considering his dad is an alum.

Thing is, a good team has one mentality, one voice, one direction. The more pieces you add that don't fit, the more jumbled the final product.

I'm not going to worry about a star wide receiver that is concerned about a depth chart. As much as people bashed Sony, at least he was up front about wanting competition. Guys that are scared of depth charts, especially "stars" should he embarrassed.

basically. you obviously want players who have the ability to be elite but at the end of the day the program was there before them and it'll be there after them. i fully expect cook to not stick with uf and if he doesn't i'll be disappointed but **** it, on to the next.

IMO someone that looks into the depth chart does not have 100% confidence in his ability's

Lane is good, no doubt, but to get him they also had to take a safety/linebacker tweener at the corner position and a guy who is 5'8" and runs a 4.7 40. That's good value, if you're USF.

"When Quincy's dad took us up to Florida for the spring practice, I just felt at home." - Ermon Lane on Florida commitment"

Lolz at the Wilson's and the SFE. I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin though.

look i agree w u bout that...im happy that coley wasnt scared and look at him now showing out at camp. sony did go to a place that already has two great young rbs, which is respectable. people just got mad at sony because of him always saying hes still a diehard canes fan. at the end of the day, we have yearby whos a great player, great depth at WR, and of course DUKE

WR is not a need. CB is not a need. Wilson is irrelevant, as he had no Miami offer.

Nothing to discuss here.

you dudes are overplaying this depth chart thing. miami has and will continue to get players who see an opportunity to play early...see moten from this class and others from past classes.

uf just signed 5 wr's in the 13' class including two guys in demarcus robinson and ahmad fulwood who were top 5 at their position and another in alvin bailey who many called the best slot prospect in the country. i highly doubt lane is walking into uf next year and starting. there's a difference between being afraid of competition and going somewhere where you feel you can make a BIGGER impact, lane falls in the latter category imo. he was going to play anywhere he went.

Stop. Wilson and Lammons are very good players.

2 players we weren't actively recruiting and one we really wanted but said his reason for choosing a school was because he looked at the depth chart and wanted to play as a freshmen.

We are stacked at receiver so we were never going to get a player with that mindset. Not faulting the kid for it but if that is what he valued then so be it.

We are stacked at WR and just got a freakish talent in Coley last cycle. Coley didn't care about the depth chart but Lane did.

It is what it is.

Bicho out!

btw i've said before i felt lane was a bit overrated, but cmon now. the dude ain't scared of no depth chart, he's playing at bama, miami, or usc next year. how many targets would he get at each? who knows, but he sees opportunity at uf. he has said before he's a 3 and out kid so it makes sense to go somewhere where he's getting targeted early and often. that said, i don't believe he would have started at any of his finalists and he won't start at uf next year either.
