Knightons problems are 100% his own. He is not fumbling or dropping passes because of Gattis, and he's doing both of those things at a very high rate.I wouldnt blame any offensive player for sliding out of this offense. Knighton has his faults but Lashlee had him at least looking like a good complimentary piece
What good is a running back that can't hold onto the ball or catch? We have straight up found a walk-on that can eat his snaps. So we should get rid of a RB. You are foolish if you think Don will ever play a season here. He got hurt holding a door open at Belen
I dont know for sure, but my understanding is that even though a minor cleaning up procedure, his knee keeps swelling and sore since procedure. What's the story here? In other words, is there more to the story than what's been reported?
NFL regardless? Gonna join the long list of EE's to go late-round or UDFA?
In hind sight 100%. His inability to gain weight was big factor, but he also just doesn't have the x-factor those guys did (especially Duke like you mentioned). On his best day he was touching neither of those backs. Do you understand how good those dudes were. Especially Duke
Doesn’t like being held accountable for his own actions? He must not like the new staff
I expected him to have the ability to make people miss on a regular basis, but when he has a defender one-on-one he tends to try to plow through him. He's not big enough to run like that.In hind sight 100%. His inability to gain weight was big factor, but he also just doesn't have the x-factor those guys did (especially Duke like you mentioned).
But let's not forget the hype the "Rooster" had from highschool (Browards all time leading rusher) until earlier this season (some people still projecting him to be the starting runningback and one of our best players).
At this point I would've settled for a Graig Cooper level player, but he isn't that either.
The same as counting on one that gets hurt when he sneezesWhat good is a running back that can't hold onto the ball or catch? We have straight up found a walk-on that can eat his snaps.
None of those guys will be missed maybe Smiff.. the rest are jags I've seen enough to know they won't be big time college players. Get your degrees fellas and learn coding or some skill that will be around 30 yrs from now. Both Knighton and Thad won't be here next year. Along with 10+ others dudes like Romello Brinson, Keyshawn Smith, Avery Huff, Gil Frierson, Thomas Davis, Keyshawn Washington, Jalen Harrell, Laurence Seymore, Ryan Rodriguez, Ousman Traore, Chris Washington.
Medical retireWould be surprised they would bring him back at this point with nothing to play for. I've heard they are leaning towards shutting him down regardless of availability.
