KNIGHTON

Chaney is not viewed as a speed RB.
Let me educate u since u are clearly clueless.

A third down back is someone who excels at catching out of the backfield. Usually the quicker smaller frame guys who don't carry the majority of the workload. Sony Michel carries the workload and White is the 3rd down back. Joe Mixon carries the workload and Bernard is the 3rd down back. Nick Chubb carried the workload and Duke Johnson was the 3rd down back. Are u starting to get the picture now? Good.

Love, who u mentioned, is a 3rd down back. DJ Dallas will be a 3rd down back in the NFL.

U sound like a female b*tching over something u choose to see. Now everytime u mention me I'm just going to laugh at how much u stay on my d*ck.

WHAT? Insanity

It would be absolutely evidence of Down Syndrome to only take 1 RB this cycle, especially with a local guy as good as Parrish.

And lol at clowns yapping about “change of pace” and “3rd down backs” like this is 1989 and Ronnie Harmon is coming in on 3rd down to catch a swing pass.

Ok, that's priceless! A Ronnie Harmon reference.

It's like being at a Dolphin's reunion, and someone mentions the awesome pass catching connection between Duriel Harris and David Woodley.

Keep it coming ...

I agree. A 3rd down back in college is an unknown. Guys like Duke and Yeldon weren’t drafted to be role players in 3rd and long. You don’t play in the NFL if you can’t do it all these days. It’s better to have multiple guys that can do it all to spell kids that are thunder and lightening. That didn’t even work for USC having 2 backs drafted in the 1st. The idea is to have a bunch of great RBs. It’s pretty simple.

You are borderline retarded with your poor logic.

A guy who is a "third down back" in the NFL was almost always an EVERY DOWN BACK in college.

You don't have, or need, a "third down back" in college. If all you are talking about is a guy who can catch out of the backfield, you can accomplish the same thing IN COLLEGE with a slot receiver type guy who you just move around.

Just stop digging your heels in. You're wrong. Based on your pee wee football tape, you probably envisioned yourself as a "third down back". But you're not. And it's not a concept used in college football. Some RBs may be better at catching the ball out of the backfield, but college football does not have specialist role players like they do in the NFL.

Just stop it. Tee has forgotten more football knowledge than you've ever had in your brain at one time.

And stop condescending to people who have destroyed your logic. You claim to crave respect so much, but you are one of the most disrespectful posters on this board.

What would u say the ratio is with how many times u mention me vs how many times I actually respond? 10:1?

Lmao get a clue.

to be fair, you should refute his arguments if you can. thats the point of a board. it isnt to show how you dont respond to someone

You might be right, you might have destroyed my argument and made me look like a complete moron yet again on this board.....but watch how I don’t respond to you (even though I’m currently responding to you) HA I WIN - DTardLee

Nobody "mentions you". People respond to your ****ty posts, that's all.

Your a low-intelligence narcissist. You mistakenly believe that when we destroy your horrible logic and uninformed posts, that we are somehow honoring you with a mention. And when you write a condescending post to Tee and can't insult other posters, you act as if you have some strength of character to "not respond" to us.

Your behavior, and your retorts...childish. You have not made any mental progression since you filmed your pee wee highlight (singular) video.

The only ratio you should be concerned with is that you make about 100 stupid posts to every 1 that anyone else makes.

This board makes me lose more and more faith in humanity every day. Mind-boggling some of the opinions on here, seriously. Scary ****.

It’s an odd conglomerate of guys who love to argue about everything incessantly and dudes caught up in old football cliches like we need different size players at skill positions and 3rd down specialists and all kinds of other nonsense.

In my original post on the subject earlier, I said if Martin was here I'd be fine taking just Chaney this year. I'd ideally still want a 2nd back, but Martin was a 2019 back, so you'd have taken 1 in 2019 and 1 in 2020 (Chaney). That's doable.

0 in 2019 (assuming Martin is gone) and 1 in 2020 for just 1 back in a 2 class window is not acceptable.
Agree with this. We would be running serious risk if injuries arise, which they always do.

Appreciate that we expect to get two really good guys next year, but we have been talking about next year for too long as a fan base.

Martin leaving means we need another back. Imo. I’d be fine woth Parrish. I have seen the movie too often around this team where we chase one kid only to lose out on not only the kid we chased but the other kid we could have had, and that other kid turns out to be really good. The question should be can the kid play here? If so, do not worry about the other kid you fancy who you think is better. Parrish can play here. Offer him already.

Agreed. If we're just looking for depth, I'd rather take a guy from the portal than commit to 4 years of some plan D kid.

I don't think anyone was talking about talking a plan D kid. Holmes and Parrish, by just watching tea leaves, seem like plan B kids, kids that can actually play here and contribute. Jags need not apply. Other than that, agree with you.

Carry on.

Oh, just wait until the fashion fairies see our uniforms and start critiquing the patterns, number sizes, trim pieces, trim layout, and go to discussing which uniforms will be best for night games - and those even lighter in the loafers will possibly discuss the pros and cons of certain night game combinations - based on how they will match up with a set of pearls.
