Klatts Top 10 Talks Real **** & UM

I’m not sure if OP doesn’t listen as well as he thinks he does, or that he has some sort of understanding dyslexia that allows him to flip sound information into his warped, twisted, distorted view, but Klatt didn’t say what he thinks he heard. I’ll try to send help.

Miami, is the current version of Miami due to coaching, recruiting and development. And none of the three have anything to do — directly — with Saban/AL or Swinney/Clemson. Nothing. Everything that can be attributed to Miami, or taken away from Miami, is the fault of Miami.

Some what if’s:

- Miami had hired Swinney in 2007 instead of Shannon when Swinney was not yet a head coach? (Or the more obvious: just hired another coach who wouldn’t send the program into a slow regression)
- every TOP-PLAYER in SFL over the last 15 years that went to Alabama, Clemson, UGA, UF, Auburn, OSU … and maybe 3 other universities … still went there, BUT Miami hit on ALL of the FL evaluations below that level (example: Miami takes a flyer on Khalil Mack — and he still becomes Khalil Mack! Miami takes Teddy Bridgewater…I’ll stop there before real fans get sick), is there any rational person who would say that Miami would still have had to walk in the wilderness for the last 15 years?
- Miami’s 3-stars actually were developed on the level of the 2-stars and 0-stars who go to other schools like Stanford, Wisconsin, Iowa (…many others) and could actually convert a 4th and 1 on nearly any defense. Or, actually stop another team from converting a dive on 4th and 1.

Even in the current environment, Miami has an OPPORTUNITY to be a consistent CFP team by making the right choices in the three areas noted above. How do we know this? Because the IIT has had three consecutive 10-Win seasons and is contending for a 4th this year — and they play 5 stooges from the AWFUL AWFUL CONFERENCE every year. Talk about dripping “va jay jays” all you want … but it’s projection.

Klatt has good takes. I like what he has to say. Better than most talking heads.

Nothing particularly interesting or mind blowing in the video. It’s just a bunch of stuff everyone already knows. The top teams are totally stacked and there’s a big drop off from the top 5 teams to everyone else.

If we two recruiting classes of being elite (which I can agree with if I see the classes with my eyes) then next year's game with the KKK we in trouble.
@Dwinstitles, my brother, we fvcked.... we dont have students of the game teaching our recruits / players on the defensive side.... On top of that our HC is wet behind the ears, he's not a seasoned coach, our AD doesn't get it but to make money you need to spend it, College football is BIG business and the kkk gets it. Watch how there basketball program will blow up, also.. they are spending money!

U of Miami admin ( many students) act too good, most come from money, they think their **** dont stink. Well, then stay mediocre *****!

It's boring because it will stay this way. I get what your saying but it doesn't seem like a turn based thing right now
And you're right it is boring..... It wasnt boring when we were winning because we got fvcked in !988, 2000, and 2002 for National titles, the zebras found ways through penalties, or the BCS rating or whatever the fvck you want to add! You see unless Miami has a ruthless admin and HC.... who can COACH... we will remain mediocre... I knew what clemson was bringing and we werent going to stop it, these new jacks loving these Canes didnt see that, well reality set in!

Straight up its boring not seeing our Canes dominate, it would be a beautiful thing for Miami to REALLY be back!

I think OP, after 1 game against the #1 team, is back to full blown mope. Most people on CIS should take their meds daily. It’s a **** of a thing when they don’t take them

Yea I knew the Clemson game was a blowout. I screamed for one play early saw about seven snaps on each side of the ball and knew it was over. They were just better football players with clever coaches

You make a good point. Our fans for most part are realistic in that we’re not gonna land the Jerry jeudys and Patrick surtains. But they want to see us hit our evals right and land the very much attainable players. Tutu atwell, Elijah Moore, tyquan Thornton, kancey etc. if we pushed we land all those guys. There’s more on that list. We land those guys and we’re a better football team. Then we can land the jacorey Brooks’ of the world when we have some proof of concept

At this point it is easier to dump on Miami and say "told you so". Then if take is wrong reverse course and say "I was wrong and college football is better when Canes are good."

That Brandon Smith kid is going to be a problem this year. Penn State loves recruiting these huge LB's.

He is definitely the next great one.....big kid, really broad shoulders and fast. Parsons said he's the most athletically gifted LB in that room. He claims to have run a 4.38 hand timed 40 but you know how hand times go.

4.38 :nba-kobe-bryant-upset:

Are you a PSU fan too?

Top 3 but yes

Was college football boring when we were running a train on the rest of college football? Obviously it wasn't for us, but I have never understood this take.
Go look at some of the schools who played for/won titles back then.. schools like GT and BYU were nationally relevant, today it’s the same 4.
