It was the Bowden culture of "boys will be boys" that ended up rotting the program.

Bowden gave a lot of kids a second chance. In watching "Bowden Dynasty" it makes sense. Kids make mistakes and generally deserve a second chance. There's a difference with what we are seeing from them now. Bowden's teams like ours talked trash but they were disciplined and backed it up. Miami and FSU intimidated opponents with their play on the field, not pushing and shoving like their players are doing now.

Have to agree for the most part. Disagree on Willie having any power to change that culture. Aside from the fact he's a terrible coach, his wet blanket, milktoast, Urkel personality will never reign in that roster and garner respect.
