King is a grad transfer. I am pretty sure he doesn't have to go into the portal. Rules are different.

Grad transfers still enter the portal.

Y’all realize he might play WR right? That was why he asked for another year at Houston...

That’s not why he redshirted. I’ll be astonished if he doesn’t play QB somewhere in 2020. He can transition to WR after college like everyone else does if he wants to play WR in the NFL.

I believe King was a WR when he came to Houston...this would be like Nick Marshall when he came to Auburn and wound up being their QB

King was actually an accomplished QB and being mentioned in Heisman talk prior to last season.

Yep didnt realize how good he was in high school. I thought he was a WR recruit because i saw he played that as a freshman because they're WR room was decimated by injuries.

Anyone else find it more than a bit odd that King made his announcement as LSU was winning the national title? Seeing lots of chatter that LSU is miles ahead here and it's not even close.

If Lashlee somehow pulls this off I'll crown him before ever seeing him on our sideline.
