Two things Mario needed to change when he got here was upgrading the overall roster talent, but also convincing said talent to return if they aren’t ready for the NFL yet. I don’t need to remind everyone that this has been a huge issue at The U for many, many years now. Obviously, if you’re projected for the 1st round then nobody can fault them, but how many players have we had over the years that basically YOLO’d the NFL draft. I remember that one year Clemson had guys projected for the 1-2 round on the D-Line and they all came back. Meanwhile, we had guys bouncing early to go undrafted …it’s crazy. We gotta work on this.

I get what you're saying but idk if that's a good example. Those players from Clemson wanted to try and win another championship which was realistic. We have just been trying to convince ourselves we can go to an ACC championship since forever. The one year players did think we had a chance and run it back was a disaster.
