Ehhh, not really. A quick look at Auburn's recruiting rankings going back to 2017 (compared to Miami's):Alot better than what he has to work with now
2022: Auburn 21, Miami 15th
2021: AU 19th, Miami 11th
2020: AU 7th, Miami 17th
2019: AU 11th, Miami 27th
2018: AU 12th, Miami 8th
2017: AU 9th, Miami 12th
2016: AU 9th, Miami 22nd
I didn't do a comparison of defensive recruit rankings but going by this alone, Auburn has not been more talented defensively than Miami. The only year that may have been the case was 2016 and maybe 2019:
