He might have issues…but if that was the case you’d probably see “personal health concerns.” The fact that it was worded that way leads me to believe its a loved one and not him.

Soooooo why did Mario hire them in the first place? This ain’t his first rodeo.
 
So......some of the same people that were complaining about the possibility that Mario was not going to allow the new OC to pick his assistants......are now complaining about the RB coach leaving the same day the new OC is hired.
 
I like Smith...He certainly did his job this year with Fletcher/Johnson.

Not irreplaceable, but think he was a plus here.
 
I’m fine with cutting dead weight and/or upgrading every chance we can.

BUT…….let’s be serious right now. This is a bad look for Mario. He built this staff. This wasn’t a situation where coordinators brought their guys like Manny with Banda/Patke, or Enos with Butch Barry. No. Mario personally handpicked all these guys. After year 1, the OC, the 2 co-DCs, the RB coach, and QB coach are all gone…..with rumors of the DB coach being wildly unpopular and on his way out as well. That's already 50% of your handpicked staff with another guy pending. That’s bad optics.....and ultimately, it hampers the ability for the kids/coaches to gel with one another.

It’s true but he could also double down on those errors like we’ve seen over and over again here

ya, this is not rocket science.

it is likely that this is exactly what everyone wanted. New OC, one that has at the very least, a lot of say in his staff (might have all the say in his staff outside of Mirabal), and a new defensive coordinator that rehauls some of the defensive coaches. The OC is more of a spread guy and the DC is an aggressive guy. DCs first hire is a LB coach that - speaking of aggressive - had 20 sacks from his LBs this year, and 19.5 for their star linebacker (from Opa Locka) over the past two years. Maybe not the names people knew...but this is the types the people wanted.

agreed in part. you know what's worse? not making an overhauling change. remember when they changed the coke formula after x millions of dollars in investment and marketing campaigns? they pulled the plug quickly. well, mario hasn't moved AS quickly but i have no problem with the overhaul considering the atrocity of last season.

Fire them all. We sucked. Flip the whole ******* thing: coaches and players… we have about 1 non question mark in each category: ******* Mirabal and Kam. Good lord.

Let’s ******* go!
