It was a Riley vs Lyle debate and both of them have been wildly disappointing

There was also Gibson from IMG that went to Texas and he’s done mostly nothing as well (did have 100 yard game against UiF last year)

Was a very down year for running backs that year

Yeah not sure if it’s a shift in philosophy or just a blip on the radar but I think the recruit rankings mirror the NFL

The NFL prioritizes QB, DE, WR more than RB and the recruiting services usually go by NFL potential

So I guess it makes sense we don’t see the 5 star RBs like we used to…or seems that way to me maybe I’m wrong
