Kevin Patrick- a year later?

I don't understand why people are upset with hiring a guy with 33 years of coaching experience just to coach the D line? FFS it's not like he was hired to be the DC!

Not gonna dispute timelines with you. Far as the rest I guess u know better than kevin,his wife or his father... cause according to them Kevin wanted to be here and his wife wasn't on board because she wants them in a different environment

How about because in this defense in particular if the defensive line doesnt at the very least excell than the defense as a whole will be suspect at best especially breaking in a new secondary...

Do you feel Stroud is a upgrade or even comparable to Simpson or Kool at this very moment in their careers, I would say **** no at best he is stop gap measure until UM can get Kevin Patrick from NC State.

I didn't say he was an upgrade. What I implied was that hiring the guy to allow him to "go out on top" would be a btch move, and Manny deserves more credit than that.

I'll go with "best available" or at least "best available according to Manny", but I'm giving Manny the benefit of the doubt on this one...he's to savage to hire a guy as a favor.

I would agree. The guy has been employed and done a number of jobs for a long time. He must be doing something right. I just hope he has the NC state magic again.

If you're talking about me I think u might be mistook. I certainly haven't gave him crap... simply said I wasn't impressed with the hire. & I also said initially I wasn't with jess either & he proved me wrong. So maybe you're mistook by quoting me on that.
