Actually, Jelani, Moore, the Chickillos and Garrett Kid and one other dude were all there just sitting and talking. No one was near Olsen's level.

Also since you're so sure the rest of the team was "doing the same thing", I went back to campus about 2 hours later for an event, and I saw Jenkins, Coley, Dobard, Gus, and a few other guys just chillen and walking around at the event. So no! Most of our better players including Coley don't go out. It is well known that Duke Johnson rarely ever goes out. I see them walking to McDonalds around midnight and 1 in the morning often but that is about it.

Are you'll going to give C.Thomas flack when he decides to go perform one of his songs at one of the clubs instead of being in the weight room or in his play book?

I'm not anti-Olsen. I'm pro-Miami.

I don't care that Olsen is going out. I care that he's crashing cars into trees drunk, getting suspended for bowl games and struggling on the field.

Notice that Golden is talking openly about QB transfers. That should be a big clue to everyone.

You didn't answer my question? Will Chad Thomas be under the same scrutiny if he doesn't perform to the fans expectations and is frequently performing at local clubs, instead of in his dorm room looking over his playbook?

Chad will be criticized if he doesn't meet expectations, period. The more hype you come to school with the higher the expectations and the higher the chance fans will turn on you if you do not perform. Plus, going to music performances (his major) is not the same as getting drunk and licking women's faces in public.

Because it was free. Only some of the guys can afford to go to montys on a friday, like olsen and chickillo. If the whole team was loaded none of them would be staying in on a friday night.

People jumping on OP are same people who will be jumping on Olsen after his first 3 pick game. Doing either is wrong. Kid didn't trash Olsen. Just reported what he saw. If you think it's no big deal, then why are some of you making a big deal out of it? OP didn't. Just made a silly thread on it. This board gets scores of new threads every night. It's not the end of the world that Olsen is out having fun. But personally I would prefer he hunker down, and get ready for what's coming. And it IS coming.

I wasn't refering to his school related performances (symphony) but instead his club performances as a rapper. []_[] do know he spends a lot of time on his rap career, ask Pete, he's one of his biggest fans. Just seems like if the mods like a particular player personally, they'll defend him or lock a thread. But they'll allow a thread like this one to go on, because they dont particularly like Olsen and Kayaa is there boy! Disrespecting Kayaa on this site once he gets here, will get you ban!
