You're overthinking things brother. He's not the tenth coach(atleast as of now) he's just like Daugherty & baez hes just a quality control guy. Dee do you think the 10th assistant coach will be coming in for primarily recruiting purposes? Or will they look to get someone in on the, for example, Special Teams/LB/Safeties who can also recruit? (ie. Ed Reed, Mallory's Dad, etc.)

I'd say were leaning more towards a ace recruiter. We need people who can always relate to the alphas out there. Wouldn't be surprised if they worked with lb as well. But it is just a guess from some of the people I've seen around campus lately as well as some of the names thats been tossed around. Plenty of former alums would love to help however we can to push us along.

Why do you think Kool can’t handle it but Searels can? Is it because of the programs they’ve been in and Kool hasn’t really had to be at this level of aggressiveness to pursue talent? Or is it more a personality trait or the lack of desire to? My first thought would make sense.

When kool was at missouri the higher ranked d-linemen they did land he wasn't the primary recruiter for them. He is a guy that likes coaching and developing guys but doesn't care for recruiting.

Coburn has been committed to UT since August, but elected not to ink with the Longhorns during the Early Signing Period. The Houston Westfield standout told reporters earlier this month at the Under Armour All-America Game was because he wanted his mom to be present when he signed paperwork.

“It was just a choice I made. I wanted to have my whole family be at the signing day and there was no way my mom could’ve flown from California that fast with the money situation and all that. I’m still going to sign, probably to Texas most likely.”
 
Looks like he’s their only DT commit in their class. That was be awesome to steal this kid from them.
 
Would be outstanding to pull him from Texas. We're short on DTs in general, but especially on 1 techs. This guy seems born to eat up blocks and create space. He and Nesta would be an outstanding complimentary pair.

Come on Rell. You can't be all the way in on PS2 and not be in here. Ain't no such thing as half way. He's a guy that we can get on campus and show him the exact opposite of what he is used too and pull off the upset. Wont be easy, but this is a kid who has talked us up in the past and is VERY impressionable. He seems like a differnt type of kid who likes to be different
