Ken Dorsey (to gauge people's thoughts of him as a coach and his future, not necessarily as our OC for now)

Why would Dorsey waste his time coming to this shot show? He’s made himself a reputation as an excellent QB coach. Pretty sure he gets paid well for that on top of his NFL retirement salary. No recruiting, no fundraising, no media appearances. Cake.
he doesn’t have a reputation as a excellent qb coach. If he was considered that great he would not have had to spend a year at fiu as a assistant ad or whatever he was. Then he took a job at app st. as a assistant before getting the call from the bills.

We haven't named a new AD yet and we haven't named a new HC yet...but somehow there is a four page heated discussion if we want Dorsey as OC.
My original post was to gauge people's thoughts of him as a coach and his future, not necessarily as our OC for now.

Nah man....Kosar had a weak arm...similar to Torretta's....Testaverde, Kelly, Covington & Morris are the only UM QBs with Cannons...
Craig Erickson probably falls just behind some of those guys.

It’s interesting that UM’s titles have been won mainly with guys who don’t have a cannon.

No way Dorsey is leaving an NFL gig to coach QBs or run an offense at Miami. He's someone who might fit on a HC search list, someone to speak with, to hear his vision and what kind of staff he might be able to put together.

He would make a good HC, QB coach or OC , only if the players were willing to put in the same kind of time and effort he put in while being a QB at UM. While watching this team, it is very obvious many of our current players haven't put in the time looking at game film or studying the play book.

Do not want Dorsey on our staff ever
Ron Burgundy What GIF

Dorsey is one of my favorite players ever, but dude might be some sort of weirdo to have never been put in charge of an offense of his own at this point at some level, right? Has a legit resume, got the right background, etc.

Maybe he doesn’t jump at the first opportunity. Some people have a plan and move for what they feel is the right situation.

he was a rookie most rookie qbs struggle, the talented ones improve the game slows down. Buffalo been stacked for like 3 years roster wise, how u beat buffalo? U leave him in the pocket
I remember all the “bust” talk about him right away

I’m like *** that give this kid some time he’s elite

Facts I knew when I saw the combine he was legit. I knew when I saw the highlights and combine he was legit. They tried tampering with his stock for social media ****. Knew right there teams wanted him to drop. Everyone in that locker room loves him

And yet, there he is coaching one of the nfl’s premier QB’s for an NFL team. And he did get the call. So he must have a pretty good reputation.
