Ken Dorsey was on WQAM this morning talking about working at FIU and what his role is and his time at Miami.

Listen closely in the beginning he mentions some other local area school didn't have interest in bringing him on board unfortunately. Either way good luck in all your future endeavors Ken, you are one of the best canes, thanks for the memories

Kenny might be rusty when it comes to the interview game but dude may have just set the world record in "you know" use within the first 5 mins there. Wow.

No worries though. It won't take a wordsmith to unseat Pete Garcia at FIU and then be on to even bigger and better things.

I love Ken Dorsey ya know but I had a hard time making it through that interview ya know because of all the you knows, you know?
 
“You know” is a mental placeholder people are especially prone to use when they’re nervous, unprepared or both.

I have yet to listen to the interview but it seems likely that Dorsey was very nervous and the way Garcia runs things, probably unprepared, because it wouldn’t surprise me if Pete hired him without actually giving him any details on his job responsibilities. Just a guess, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Pete hired him to tweak Miami. He’s a bitter little prick like that.
 
Just really glad Butch hired him. He should be here as the QB coach at the very least. I would prefer OC and Assistant Head Coach.

i hope this is sarcasm, **** Kenny imo is better than MR himself, we will find out for sure this year how good MR is, he should have a qb that can throw a football with some accuracy

I am relaxed but Toastmasters international? What are you, 100 years old?

If you have a job of any substance, public speaking or dealing with media or the public in some capacity is generally involved. Once you get past grunt level it’s important. Obviously, you’re not aware, or are a Pete Garcia fan.

If you’re saying he was a better college QB, yes that’s definitely true.

I mean I hope that’s what you’re saying. If you’re saying anything else, people are going to think you’re a full blown idiot.

No I just disagree with the use of place holders equating to being unprepared. You're still my guy, guy.

no i'm saying that dude is super smart, studies his opponent like knowbody else, knows his personel and what to call that will have the best chance to work. He wont call a 5 yard slant on 3rd and 20 etc, i'm hoping we find out MR been cuffed so far with no qb, we will know this year i think

You know this how? When’s the last time he called a game?
 
The only thing Dorsey has more of in the last 16 years than Mark Richt's 164 wins is "you knows" in his 5 minute interview.

his studying ? thats all he ever did, you dont remember all the guys ribbing him because he studied film every friday night instead of going out. Come saturday that other team didnt stand much change, he was always physically challenged for the sport, he just made up for it in brains, i would put him at OC and never look back, Richt Jr aint that guy, and i dont know yet that Sr is that guy, will know much more this year with complete team. I would put a helluva lotta faith in KD, has Peyton Manning type prep mentally
