i dont mind it. rent is exp in miami. slightly cheaper in FTL.

also, FTL is way more chill than what miami has become now.

They can live in Broward when the Dolphins draft them.

And the off-campus rent is paid for by the school. My guy @AtlAtty can tell you where a bunch of the athletes live now, just north of Dadeland Mall. Beautiful spot.

yeah i know the school pays for it. when i was there, theyd cover up to certain amount off campus but fully covered on campus (like if you lived in the UV).

im not sure if theyve increased the amount since rent down there has blown up.

either way, idc where they live. im just messing with you
 
Some of ya’ll act like Mario/UM is going to hold a midweek presser to confirm this and if that doesn’t happen then it must be false. We’ll know on Friday once the report comes out and then we’ll know if he is done for the year at the next presser when Mario is asked and he says, “Keionte is nicked up but we feel he is close to getting back.”

When there is smoke there is usually fire though. I say put Poyser there as a replacement and work in Fitz/Day at S next to Thomas. Isaiah Taylor isn’t going to get it done with the best 2 offenses we will see all year coming up in the next 3 games.

Very true. My nephew lived right by Dadeland Mall, along with a number of other athletes. The rent is not cheap, but the amenities are very good as well.

If true about a bunch of players posting video of him, then I think it’s more likely the rumors being true. Probably teammates being supportive / sending encouragement after someone being sidelined.

It's all good.

The off-campus rent allowance is adjusted annually. Obviously, a player will have to use NIL (or family wealth) if he wants to live where Carson Beck lives, but most apartments nearby will be fully covered.

Back in the day (when I lived off-campus with a UM student-athlete) there was an incentive to get roommates, because you would get all your rent money in an "overage check", so if you could cut costs, you could bank the cash.

Which is why I always laughed when the old grassy knuckleheads would tell us the sad myths about the starving football players.
