🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Man this place is dumb.
I'm dumb because I don't think that guy going 8-4 with a ton of talent returning, winning a garbage dump of a division(Which will require a ton of help) and possibly beating Wake Forest for an ACC title is worthy of an extension? Call me dumb then. Miami is winning in spite of Manny, not because of him. I'm not committing long term to a guy that can't even grasp the concept of defending the middle of the field. I'm not committing long term to a coach that is so incompetent that he thought that not playing the best players from jump was a good idea. You don't commit to Manny long term, and if you can't commit long term to Manny, you have to cut bait. He has a 5 year deal, we are in year 3. If he isn't worth an extension right now, then you have to move on.

Ok dude. We’re not going to agree on this. You all are valuing canning Manny over supporting our kids who are giving it their all despite Manny.
Again, wanting losses to ensure Blake and Manny goes =/ not supporting the players.

But that’s fine. Agree to disagree.

Manny shouldn’t be the coach and there are only like 3-5 people on the board right now who are actively propping him up. They’re a limited group.
We've been on this merry-go-round of switching coaches too long. For once we have a coach that is not afraid to fire bad hires and correct what is wrong and finally has a QB and a bunch of young studs that believe in Hurricane football. Diaz is as in love with the Canes program much more than anyone that is validly available. He is the first "failed" coach I have seen here that is working his butt off to get us better. We can continue the cycle of a new coach every three years or give him one more now that he has us performing well. Not only will it ***** up recruiting, it will load up the portal with our best talent (see what happened to Tennessee recruits when they fired their coach). Now if he doesn't work to fix our LB and OL problems or losses pile up, good riddance, until then I like what he is doing. As far as close scores, I guess posters here only watch our games, most games are within a TD or less. I hope others are sick of the vicious cycle we've been in for 20 years. Name any other during that cycle that did what Diaz has done in fixing what is broke be it players or coaches...none have.

By the way, how many 10 point underdogs won today?

1. Fire Blake.
2. Hire Capable, Legit AD.
3. New AD Makes HC Decisions.

Manny is going into year 4 of a 5 year deal. As bad as our administration is I can't see them extending him even if he wins out. They have to fire him after this year even if he wins out right??

The fact that Flake still has a job after a decade of Athletics mediocrity shows their tolerance for failure.

Manny is finally listening to other coaches on the staff and before his seat got hott he wasn’t doing that…those freshman have have passion and heart…I love it…when you’re a new head coach learning on the job..one of most important things U have to do learn to listen to others…Manny knows NOW what he has to do…if he keeps his job..he needs to hire a DC..either Trob or Shoops or someone from the outside BUT he definitely needs a DC and a REAL LB coach and go N the portal and get a freaking LB and Manny definitely needs to keep Trob by any means necessary with TVD learning Lashlees offense this year and N spring ball and fall camp…Miami could do BIG things NxT year…those freshman R learning and applying that experience to NxT year..watch out…Recruiting for 2022 will B fine if Miami wins out and win there bowl game…the Ruff start to the season is just what the doctor ordered…Let’s Go Canes
