KC McDermott/Sony Michel Predictions

I wouldn't be surprised by either of their decisions. Both have ties/strong preference to both of their top schools

what strong ties does Sony have to UGA?

weren't they recruiting him since the 8th grade too, correct me if im wrong

wasnt everyone?

i guess so, im also trying to figure that out too, that was the best thing i can think as a strong preference for UGA

Yes Georgia was on him since about 9th grade, then when he was a soph Marshall Morgan (Georgia K) transferred to Heritage (he already had strong interest in them) the interest in Georgia grew for Sony. Marshall and Sony are good friends

so his close ties to UGA are to the kicker....?

sounds legit

from what i have been reading KC is making his choice in the next week possibly this weekend, from what IHATE said people get the feel he has already made his decision, there are info going both ways Canes sources say he is all canes, people in his high school think it is ND, the ND visit is going well, got all this from the greer guy

to be honest i really dont know where this kid is going, one would think canes, but the whole grandfather thing is a little scary, there has been a lot of ND chatter on this kid, hoping he comes to the U
I think that he loves UM and not ND. Now the grandfather thing to mean doesnt mean much because Shane goes here and if the grandfather wasnt a UM fan everybody would know but it didnt affect Shanes choice, plus KC has the greatest relationship with our staff which will always be the key

i agree with you on all of that, its just he has brought up his grandfather a lot and ND, maybe he is just saying all this to make some people in his family happy that he is considering ND, from what i have read he has already made his decision that can be good or bad for us, this info is coming out after his trip to ND, now lets see if he still takes a visit here this week, if he does i will feel a little better, and so far it looks like he is going to visit

I think hes always known because he said he was going to choose around this time at least a month ago and if it was really that close he wouldnt have made a date so far back so i think he is comfortable with his choice. Now as far as making the choice that to me says he either told ND its over or he was always a ND lean and the visit solidified it..........but 1 problem with that is he decided before he came back to UM so that says he just confirmed to ND he will be choosing us because i dont think he would decide against us without giving us a chance

You are overthinking the situation....

No.......... im just thinking he has longer and stronger ties to UM so if he is a ND lean good chance we would know and i just dont think he is

or it could mean that the visit made him want to commit to them, im not trying to be negative by the way i just look at everything from both sides, i always try to take off my orange and green sunglasses
I feel you just UM has been the closest team to him so he knows us like the back of his hand and i just dont see him pulling away just like that **** he loves Kehoe and says he's the best oline coach in the game bar none so i just dont see him leaving

i really hope you are right

LOL how many times did you guys bring up "Jermaines best friends are Tracy & Malcolm". He is good friends with the kid it doesn't really matter what position he is. Either way he's not making his decison based on friends, he's making it on what he feels is best for him

agreed, on the last part.

And yeah, Grace knowing Tracy and Malcom his whole life and choosing to stay home to play with them is little different then a KICKER that Sony knew for 2years from Georgia...

That is true, but I was just trying I point out a teammate scenario. I have a bad feeling about KC, I still think he's ours though.

why is everyone saying Sony to UGA?

smoke screen

No, they've been in the lead for a while now along with Miami
UGA is legit and an elite SEC program, to be honest im surprised that UGA doesnt get studs for South Florida every year because driving up there isnt that far and being a top program i see alot to like about them

You do know its over ten hours to Athens right?

not exactly your typical Saturday drive.

Depending where in Florida you are and depending on when you go because if you leave early morning when its pretty empty a family can get to a game by Saturday afternoon basically if you can go to UF FSU or USF you can take a little more time to get to UGA

^^lolz. its a helluva drive from ATL to MIA. not to mention that Athens is about 1.5-2 hrs from ATL

Lol i know but im saying if you leave early in the morning like 2am about it isnt that bad and you know families will take that trip to see their boys in Georgia **** i got family in macon and ill take a 7 hour visit there from early in the morning. Basically compare a trip to UGA to a trip to Bama, Mississippi, Arkansas or Tennessee and you know SEC schoools are going to come recruit harder down here every year

Sounds very convenient. I mean why have his family drive 20 min, to sun life when they can get up at 4 in the morning for a 10 hr drive

u could do all that OR you can wake up around 10:00 take an hour or two long drive to Sun Life stadium where it won't be cold during football season.

it ain't even an hour to sun life from there.
are you kidding? if you can make it to uf or fsu you can a little further (like 4 more hours) to uga? yeah, do that trip once and you won't want to be doing it 6 times a year.

so wait, Kc went to ND, is back, and is visiting UM again this week or weekend for practices? and he's already made up his mind? and some of you still aren't sure what school he's picking? really??
i know according to hurricane glory, my logic is way off on the kc situation, but, c'mon.

For this Cane fan living far from the U I find news about recruiting by the U difficvult to come by. Will someone post some info about mcDermott. Thank you.
