Quite a football family: Reggie and Raleigh McKenzie, father and uncle, respectively.

He does have a brother. I don't know the brother's age and whether he plays. I can't believe he wouldn't be into football, so maybe his brother's a future prospect, too.

EDIT: Apparently Jalen is his younger brother and, according to USA Today, has a bright future in football, too:

I think it's going to be very tough to pull these kids from the west coast. Their mother is a lawyer, one sister is studying engineering at Duke. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go someplace like Stanford, since they are probably good students.

That must be Jalen in those pictures.

Baby brother looks like he is ALREADY much bigger. That kid is going to be a monster. Look at the size of his head. Sounds like mom and dad have money, so going across the coast might not be as big a deal. If the father is buds with Franklin, then sending his sons to him is reasonable. Remember, they are FROM Knoxville, then do not live there.

Ummmm, his pops is the Raiders GM. They are millionaires.
 
I literally work down the street from De La Salle and McKenzie's assistant head coach is one my of clients (insurance agent). He knows I'm a big Cane fan being that I have nothing but Chicago Bears and UM gear in my office and we talked about a week ago about Khalil. He couldn't go into specifics but he said that he and his family (in particular Reggie) are not opposed to him going to play ball out of state since CA is truly not their home. In fact, he said Reggie is encouraging his boys to see what's out there and wouldn't want them deprived of getting the college experience elsewhere. Not saying that we land him, but don't be surprised if he commits here. I think the biggest cog would be Tenn since he is a legacy there. My co-worker's son plays for De La Salle's freshman team and he mentioned Larry Allen's son (Larry III) and Khalil months ago being beast on the weights and that they were just cool dudes that he looked up to. Regardless, I would love to have this dude. Give me him and Humphrey out of CA and I'll be happy. I think both mentioned will be 5 stars by NSD.

Derwin James pops played for UM but he is commited to FSU. Legacys mean less and less. Jethro needs to get it done. Love QJ, but he isn't on KMs level.
