Because we can. We have the #2 recruiting class in the nation and just went the championship. Whether it's true or not it's certianly plausible. It would be a joke for FSU or UF to say it because they're not in position to. This really isn't hard to understand unless you're being purposefully obtuse.

I reported earlier this week that I expected the situation to move fast to a resolution. We have one now, even though it’s not what we wanted. My guess is we pushed for an answer and didn’t want to waste any more time. I’ll find out.

Also plausible. We're in position now to tell 5*s to **** or get off the pot. Quite a luxury. My theory is still $$ related but either makes sense.
