Kaden Henderson update

Spending 5 star money at the LB postion does not make sense in this defense. High rated 4 stars is where we should focus for LB, and probably for TE as well considering the offense we run.

The part of spending money everyone needs to understand is that money is allocated by position. Every pro team undertakes this same analysis, and we are a professional league now. The 49ers spend more money at the FB position than any other team because in their offense it has more value than any other offense.

Now DJ Jacobs would make sense for all the reasons provided herein. We’ll see what happens. But (4) 5 stars is more than enough to win a championship provided you have the right 5 stars.

I don’t think this guy is a 5* LINEBACKER anyway. He’s a tweener, your best athlete rushing the passer, not a true linebacker. With those guys you never really know if they will translate and we’ve been down this road before many times (although many had injuries) they didn’t pan out.

Find smart instinctive guys and they will get the job done!!!

Agreed- Henderson needed a year it least to learn the position. Not sure that’s worth the $ to have him wait and learn. Excited about Randle, if he can add 10-15lbs and learn the system he could start day 1

Yes, I insinuated that he may have decided to take more money and left it at that. Now while I didn’t telegraph it, I look at it as just making a business decision. You stated ‘This kid seems more interested in the proce$$ than he is in making a decision and playing football’.

Kid is making a decision in the early summer and given who his finalists were, saying he isn’t serious about playing football makes no sense. **** ND and 8-4 but I’d say they are at this moment in time pretty relevant programs. I’d definitely say Miami is and we were in this until today.

This kid did nothing wrong, we just moved on for obvious reasons and you went in an attacked his character and then said the kid maybe wants to be zesty 2.0. If that’s not disparaging a kid, then I don’t know what is. It’s not like this kid pulled some out of pocket **** on us. We moved on, and it made sense for both parties why we moved on.

Cool. I disparaged him then. I don't like getting used like a cheap who.re and I should've used more grown up words so as not to anger you.

Going public would certainly align with the agent leveraging schools for a bigger bag, ŵhich additionally de-values the "wanting to bè a 'Cane" culture. Sends a clear messaĝe to remaining guys on the board too.
As for Henderson, now one of his suitors is clearly out. Leverage that. And if he really wants in, my guess is Mario will take the call.

Now go get a kid like Drew Williams at LB, or someone who wants to be here, to develop for a fraction of the NIL and add a little more depth to the room for the future.

I’m couldn’t care less that we moved on with the other recruits we have in tow. But why does this staff always do this moved on statement nonsense?

It seems like we’re making a scene cause we got told no. Everyone on this board knows this would be straight to the FSU or UF tears threads if they did this.

Don't know about this. They've continued to recruit guys that have chosen other places countless times. Something happened here, and probly has to do with some underhanded 'agentry'.

Running the full-court press also implies "**** or get off the pot". Likely because they want to use those funds for someone else and not tie them up on a maybe. Or another LB is on their radar.
