UCLA still hasn't formally extended a scholarship offer to Kaaya, which complicates the whole process even further. But for now, even if the offer does come, Kaaya is still committed to Miami.

"I don't really know yet," Kaaya said when asked what would happen if the Bruins did offer. "I'm still a solid commit"

.. If/When UCLA offer ...he gone
....

His dad said not too long ago that he "could not imagine" a circumstance that would cause Kaaya to renege on his commitment. Hopefully he was capable of imagining this and his prediction holds true.

I for one am glad we get to discuss this for the second time in 3 days. Why are we making a big deal about a quote where a kid says "I'm a solid commit"

Not worried.

I've talked to him about it. He's not going anywhere.

Honestly, I wouldnt expect him to tell a UM site something before it happened. You might be in the dark on this one Pete. Dont speak in soo definitive terms, those same guys liking your post might want to burn you at the stake

Oh and thread title, lmao...

some people act like he commited because he had to, we only had a few commits at the time. HE COULD HAVE WAITED IF THE OFFER WAS THAT IMPORTANT

dont be so reactionary, the kid has been all cane since he committed he deserves benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise
