Kaaya and Yearby last year - Norton and RJ this year

Wish all these guys had more patience/vision. No question this changes things as it did last year. Having said that of course I wish them all well.

Norton and Mac aren’t even close to the same level of bad as Kaaya and Yearby.

McIntosh earner the right to leave on the field. Norton plays a position where there’s always high demand and large contracts. Just because our staff chose to take 1 DT each of the last 2 classes is no reason to turn on these 2. I’d be ashamed if they came back and got hurt only for us to continue playing Rosier at QB and be no better than this year

IDK about big norton. He was getting his sh*t pushed in for most of the season
 
And all you keep hearing on ESPN about UGA is how so many guys came back for their Senior years to try and win a Ship... SMH

Same could be said for us when we were on top.

Its just gotten to the point where it’s humorous.
 
Not even the same type of situation. Both of those guy have way better draft projections than yearby or kaaya

Show me where Norton was losing most of the season... I know it's some bitter made up bs bc I saw every game but plz enlighten me.

those are richt recruits in contrast to golden kids.

i would never insult norton or rj by comparing them to yearby and kaaya

KrazyCane are you related to either of these DTs,you take offense and reply to every single thread about them making a mistake leaving early.
 
I think Kaaya and Yearby is a fair comparison.

After Kaaya's sophomore year he was actually being pegged as a potential Number 1 pick in many mock drafts to SF. Neither one of these DT's sniffed the first round projections at all.

Yearby was probably told the same thing Norton has been told. "Believe and bet on yourself" which is nice in retrospect...but as we all know isn't guaranteed.

That being said I'm not mad at any Al Golden recruits for leaving, because they had to go through the worst years of Miami Football...which I wouldn't wish on any of our players! Good luck to the both of them.

My predictions:
RJ-Drafted late third round
Norton- Drafted early 5th

McIntosh will make a roster as a backup and Norton will be a practice squad player and will be lucky to get drafted

of course. Then again a lot of the guys leaving early were going on to be 1st round picks. I might be wrong but I don’t remember a bunch of our guys leaving to become undrafted or mid to late rounders.

I don’t really care about these guys leaving early. They were both good this year but we can certainly find more guys to do absolutely nothing in the biggest games of the year.
