disagree with this one. He can play. Shaq and Pinkney are special players. We need the young man, that's been one of the problems we've lacked depth because guys like him have been leaving too soon.

You guys keep talking about depth. We don't need bad depth like Young. We need good depth. I'll take my chances with McCloud and free up Young's spot for a better player.

Maybe there's another free agent they're looking at. We don't know.

LBs are big on special teams. Young can fill that role this season.

Thank you! I've been on message boards for 4 years now, I'm smart enough not to post some bs and claim it as real. I've seen enough dumbass posts over the years, primarily on here, to know what NOT to post. I did post it as a "rumor" just to pass along some info that was out there. Also said I was trying to get more details, which I attempted to look up the group specifically on FB that was referenced but was unable to find the group or the reference. Obviously if I had more I would've gladly posted it.

Turns out the rumor was true, I won't pretend to take credit for being the first to be onto it and know something you guys didn't bc that's not at all what this was. I simply passed on something heard from another Canes fan I follow on Twitter through their tweet about a tidbit they saw on FB. I realize that's hard to follow and makes it seem like I was reaching but that's exactly why I posted it as a "rumor" and nothing else. Had it been nothing, it's completely harmless anyway. Doesn't hurt the program or Young bc I didn't say he got let go for a crime or something illegal, just that he could be gone for an unknown reason. People need to chill. Not sure I could've posted it differently to better suit the info I saw. I will gladly take suggestions for future reference tho

I hear ya, this is no demetri Stewart at a minimum why can't he be the Weaver twins. We need SOLID depth at this point. Not everyone is going to be Denzel perryman. We need more Howard Clarks and Chris Campbells and 51 has shown he can be that type.

Some of you guys throw out the " bust" or "JAG" words way too easily. It's almost as if the kid isn't Ray Lewis then he sucks. Young played well in the opportunity he had last year in that abortion of a scheme. This would be his 3rd year in the program and he has the potential to be a good LB. Now he might not win a starting job outright but he will be or would have been an important piece of the puzzle at LB. Hope he ends up getting cleared.

Going to miss young man I thought he played good last year. His loss should be minimized by the reemergence of Darrion Owens as well as the standout trio freshman linebackers

This. Dudes have no balance on this board. It's always one extreme or the other.
 
His dismissal will hurt... My dad would sometimes say if you are going to be dumb, then you better be tough... The kid made a mistake ... what I don't like is when the masses stand off and race to cast the first stone... like they have never made a mistake... Any one that knows JY personally likes him... he had that personality... All he was missing was some focus... He didn't expect the Youngens to come in behind him so ready to ball... if he had he could still be a starter and if he had remained I would not have been shocked if he reclaimed his spot. I told Shaq to learn from this and be careful not to judge this.
