Missing 3 plays that couldn't be added.

*Hawking down Cypress RB from opposite side of the field to save a TD
*55 yard TD run where he scorched tracks through the Central defense like he was a Delorean hittin' 88mph.
*Hawking down Joe Yearby to save a TD

Considering how well Miami is doing on the field and their ability to develop kids, I don't wanna question their evaluation skills. Are you sure you don't take a good look at this kid though? I understand he's only 5'10" 160lbs but we're recruiting other CB's who are similar in size, maybe a little heavier, but don't make as many plays as Dowels.

Him and McKenzie are Heritage's biggest play-makers right now. Dowels currently has 5 INT's in only 6 games. (against pretty good competition)

Now everybody knows I'm a Dowels supporter, but all bias aside, I truly believe he's South Florida's best cover Corner. (and other people who have played with and against him will agree) He's gone against every WR with a pulse in South Florida. Lane, Durante, Burgess Becker, Montgomery (2013), Ridley, Lee, Rushing, Ferguson (2012), Malcolm Lewis (2012), etc etc etc.

Watching him Friday against Jackson, he reminded me a lot of Nate Dortch. Definitely a pure cover corner.

He dominated Durante in the first half. Durante started getting the better of him late (including the go-ahead TD), but it was a battle. He is definitely impressive and looked a lot smoother than McFadden.

I think the reason Miami isn't recruiting him is because they are suddenly deep at corner and have a guy in Nigel Bethel that is pretty similar. But you were right, this guy is good.

He was telling me that Durante got him with a slant-n-go. Those things just happen when you're going against guys as talented as Durante. He said that he knows what he did wrong and it won't happen again. Dowels was a blanket the majority of the game though. Dude could've had 3 picks that game.

I think his lack of size is hurting him, specifically his weight. Most of the "top" CB's that are 5'10" are around 170-180.

isnt he committed??....

if not who has offered.,,,,,

he's solid with height but like said 160 aint cutting it..dennis turner is around that too but 5'11.

Dortch came in here under 160

Juwan is a playmaker man. It runs in his bloods. Jamal was one of the quickest WRs down here.

Juwan is committed to NIU who's ranked 24th iirc. He went on a visit to Utah though with the other south Florida boys. I haven't really talked to him about how strong his commitment is.

hate to put him direct in one of our heated rivals..but kid looks like the typical pesky Virginia Tech cb.......kid needs to head that way ..though NIU is a good program...and they love Broward kids.......i remember they cme down and got one of my teammates who went on to start for like 3 years up there @ cb

I didn't even notice I spelt his name wrong lol. He could make an impact any where he goes, I'm sure if vt came calling he would listen.

Juwan did get a Texas A&M offer but not sure if it was committable.

You see guys like Dowels and McKenzie and it just further illustrates how ridiculously deep this 2014 class is.

& 2015 is just as deep at WR & DB.

Scarlett, Cronkite, Anderson, & that Hallandale rb is a very good group of rbs as well.

No doubt. I just can't stand these ******* morons who make out their "lists" a year in advance and then ***** and moan when we don't land everyone on it.

Like I've mentioned a few times, no Clark/Cook/Sony/Lane and our class is beastly. Who knew?

Another interception tonight for Dowels to go along with a bunch of deflections. That's now 6 INT's in 7 games.

Rutgers and Syracuse offered this week. Notre Dame and Miami came by the school and spoke to him. Juwan said he spoke with Hurlie Brown.
