Justin Fuente fired at Va Tech

Remember Blake making them part of his press tour a few weeks back? Good times. What was the context of their comments re Blake being fired?
They were incensed that he was let go : argument is he did much good while he was AD, including athlete academics, fundraising, leadership roles within ACC committees, including chairmanship of a couple, They also went off a bit on the fan base about the perception that changes like this will "bring back" the good old days..... It was mainly Wes Durham - he seemed really angry. Packer was more understanding that football drives these kind of decisions

You think Tobacco Road wants a dominant Miami in football. Wait until Larranaga is forced to resign in March after his 4th consecutive losing season.

I usually like Packer but will now question anything Durham says. You can't with a straight face think this wasn't the right move after the Diaz hire. Bad decisions have consequences.
