Yeah but bro, he’s not a “Miami guy”, bro.
Then don’t hire any small school coach and settle for a lesser X’s and O’s guy.Welcome back my man. I like him but I worry about his recruiting. As long as he is willing to hire coaches that can croot and not get married to any of them he is already a winner
You've never watched revenge of the nerds I seeuntil the BOT and the admin get their thumbs outta their asses and actually WANT a championship football program and the beta male AD and his superkunt bosses at Hecht are REMOVED.... it is pointless and stupid to have these endless debates and wet dreams about which guy would be the best HC for the Canes !!!
this is like a group of pimple-face nerds sitting around arguing all night about which hot cheerleader they want to bang ...
IT AINT HAPPENING ! savvy ?
they were Lambda Lambda Lambda men .... thats a big difference ! lolYou've never watched revenge of the nerds I see
Erickson came from Washington State, worked out well. He's a great coach but a Midwest guy
Coker, Shannon, and Diaz --- sounds like an ambulance-chasing shyster law firm.Campbell is most likely holding out for either an NFL job, or for a huge state school gig. I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't end up somewhere like Michigan if Harbaugh ends up heading back to the NFL. I think he's more of a midwest guy, he may not want to coach somewhere like Miami, where you have legit expectations, but won't have every single tool at your disposal.
I'll never get why Miami fans would shoot for the moon, and ignore all the guys that are well within our budget, and have shown the ability to do a lot of the same things guys like Campbell has done. Look at a guy like Norvell, Bill Clark and others. Get them before they go to a place like Iowa State and become stars. It's a little riskier, but if you hit on one, you hit. Miami makes rational, decent hires multiple times in a row, you are bound to hit on at least one. Instead, Miami has made 2 rational hires in the last 19 years, and it shows. Golden and Richt were really the only two guys you could justify getting the job. They didn't succeed, but at least you weren't in complete shock they were hired. Coker, Shannon and Diaz on the other hand, no.
